Laser Cutting Edge Heating Technology

Purpose: To improve the hardness of metal cutting edges and achieve ultra-low deformation.

Current Status: At present, the nitriding process is widely adopted, with a nitrided layer depth of 0.03 mm, resulting in extremely poor durability of the cutting edge. In addition, nitrogen gas is generated when surfacing welding is used to repair the cutting edge, leading to pinholes in the welded area.

Requirements: Heat the cutting edge, control deformation, extend service life, and ensure the heating layer depth is greater than 0.5 mm.
